About Prayfect, in plain words
Prayfect is an early test, made by the team behind the Sit with Jesus Instagram page. Here are the plain facts.
What it is
Prayfect is an AI. It is not God, Jesus, a pastor or a therapist, and it can be wrong. It listens, helps you see what is going on, and shows you what the Bible says.
Every verse you see is taken word for word from a stored copy of the Bible. The AI only names the verse. Our own code looks it up and shows the exact text.
Who it is for
- It is for people aged 13 and up.
- It is not for emergencies. If you might hurt yourself, or you are not safe, use the Help now button in the chat, or call: 988 (call or text, US), Tele-MANAS 14416 (India), or find a free line in your country at findahelpline.com. In immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
- It is not a replacement for a pastor, a doctor or a counselor. Please talk to a real person you trust about the big things.
What we keep
- Anonymous daily counts: how many messages and how many visitors there were each day, plus a few page counts such as how many chats started and how many times the early-access card was shown. No names. To limit how much one person can use, we keep a scrambled code made from your connection and the date. It changes every day, we never store your IP address itself, and old codes are deleted after two days.
- Emails you choose to give, if you ask for early access to the app.
- Reviews you choose to write, if you use "Tell us what you think".
What we don't keep
- Your chat. To write a reply, your messages are sent to Anthropic, the company that makes the AI model (Claude). We don't save them, and we don't write them to our logs. What happens on Anthropic's side follows Anthropic's own privacy rules.
- Your chat lives only in this browser tab. When you close the tab or tap New chat, it is gone.
- No ads, no trackers, and no third-party analytics. The only outside thing this page loads is its fonts, from Google Fonts.
The Bible text
Verses are from the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), which is in the public domain. The BSB leaves out a few verses that older manuscripts don't have, so you may not find those here.
